Policy

Shop stewards, who are also Union officials, elected to represent members in bargaining units which qualify in terms of the Recognition Agreement, may be granted paid time-off as per the following table:

Union Members per Branch	Days Off per Branch per annum
0 - 49 50 – 149 150 – 249 250 – 350	0 15 17 20

Note

Paid time-off is per branch and not per shop steward with requests for such time-off being forwarded to the Employee Relations Section, Human Resources, for control purposes.
